Sanctuary is the debut solo exhibition by Hannah Simpkin, a mixed-media body of work exploring ideas surrounding our human need to create and continuously modify our personal environment. A curated network of objects, fashion, vices and relationships make up our sanctuary. We seek comfort in patterns, habits and social structures, safe parameters in which to exist.

Hannah’s soft palate and sensory imagery employ printmaking, drawing and installation to create an intimate, romantic, safe space.
