"Ugliness is the great adversary of visual culture" states artist Ian Sullivan Cant, who examines the concept in 'UGLY', his new exhibition. His current body of work is an ongoing documentation and catalog of "ugly" in its various incarnations...death, decay, waste, disorder, utility and monstrosity. With a technically proficient pen and a wild colour palette, Cant seduces the viewer into examining subjects one might otherwise skip over.
