Tackling themes of social disconnect, longing and identity, these large scale paintings and drawings bring us viscerally close to subjects grasping through various positions of engagement and isolation. Using layering and fragmented palettes, Breen's beautiful and haunting images question the nature of intimacy and connection in the modern landscape.
